Hi Kim,

It is a lot to get at once if you don't have the other items already, but the Extended Cutting Pad is one of my MUST have purchases... I find more of my favorite dies (boxes and other fun things) are the BigzXL size which needs the extended cutting pad... So you'll get good use out of those items if you like to use dies!

You do have a little play room with the size of the rosettes you make. You can trim a few folds off the end and trim down the height slightly ... but you're still going to be making bigger lollies for scrapbooking and decorating or gift giving. You still have to make the smaller ones the measuring and scoring way - but that's not so bad ... it's the BIG ones that I struggle with doing - I get tired of so much scoring and measuring! :)

This looks like it would be awesome however, if you don't have the Extended Cutting Pad and the Extended Premium Crease Pad this is going to be one expensive purchase. Over $80 for all three pieces. Can the rosette be made smaller?? I know the size being shown in the tutorial is great for scrapbooking but to use on a card it would need to be much smaller. Just wondering if it can be altered to fit on a card or smaller project?? I think the die is great and would be a real time saver and I also like the decorative edging you can achieve. Nice product!!
