Last week on Tuesday I had a class at the Library and we made cards to donate to our Troops. We created a couple of different Christmas Card designs and everyone worked on them to make several. The cards are going to be donated to From Our Hearts – who will send them over to the servicemen and women serving our country. They will be able to choose from tons of hand stamped cards to send greetings and letters back home!!
I had a lot of very first time stampers at this event – and the cards spend a lot of time traveling in the mail – and I wanted them to travel well. I kept the designs simple and flat – but with that WOW look handstampers love!
This card was cased almost exactly from the Holiday Catalog
The card in the catalog had colored rhinestones – which were fabulous – but not very flat – they tend to poke through envelopes it they travel for a long time – so I changed it up and used our Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details to add some shimmer to the card…
a great way to add sparkle without bulk…
