Hi Stampers,
Last night I was at the Great Escape Theater in Fenton enjoying Stampin' Up!'s Kick Off event for the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochures on the Big Screen!!
To all my STL area Blog readers who recognized me and said HI - Thanks so much!!!! I LOVE getting to meet blog readers in person!! And everyone who was over at Steak 'n Shake drooling over the new catalogs along with me - thanks for a FUN after party!!! :)
This is the second Big Screen catalog reveal from Stampin' Up! (the First was for the Big Catalog last Spring) - I LOVE getting to go watch a sneak peek of the new things coming out - get lots of ideas - and get excited about the new stamp sets!!
If you follow me on Facebook I posted a few photos last night of the catalog covers - so go take a peek - it'll give you a little taste of what you might find inside :)
So of course as with any Stampin' Up! event - I had to make up some goodies for my team members that attended as well!!
A new catalog always requires a little chocolate - they just go together.
So fist up I decorated some Cookies & Cream Santa Hershey's Bars - so quick and easy - you just wrap a little Designer Series Paper arond the candy - tie a little ribbon - and add a greeting. I made up several of these to hand out to my team members - our other demo friends - and pretty much anyone else sitting around us :)
I used paper from Trim the Tree DSP Paper Stack, Real Red Satin Woven Ribbon, and Real Red ink on my candy bars.
I kinda went with a Santa Theme for my team's gifts - even though we're kicking off the Spring catalog - The event was JUST in time for us to add some pre-order wants to our Holiday Gifts Wish List...
So for my team members I made up little catalog survival kits complete with a Wish List, Pen, Catalog Tabs, and a charm for them to add to their Italian Charm - SU Event Bracelets...
The Wish list is a Jr. Legal Pad cut in half - I had my local office supply store do it for me! Then I added a little Christmas Tree Paper to the top of the note pad to cover the binding.
Add a little DSP rolled up inside a RSVP pen and you've got a great set!!
I also used the Trim the Tree Paper Stack for these - but I tried to pick papers that were not TOOOO Christmasey - so they can keep using them with their catalogs after the Holidays are over...
It was a FUN night - and you guys are going to LOVE the Sale-a-bration items this year!! If Santa has not finished shopping for you this year - ask him to bring you a Stampin' Up! Gift Certificate. Just have him e-mail me. Payment can be made through PayPal, I'll send hime a certificate to wrap up, and then you can shop after the Holidays when the new catalogs start!!
