Hi Stampers. Today I'm sharing a couple of cards featuring the Diagonal Slash cut.
The Diagonal Slash is So easy! For a standard 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card:
- Choose a Designer Series Paper - cut to 4" x 4"
- Use your Paper Trimmer to cut across the DSP square at an angel
- Attach your two paper halves to your card front
- Stamp a greeting in the open space you've created and decorate!
So easy and you get 9 cards out of 1 sheet of Designer Series Paper - and you've covered most of your card front with those pretty papers!
I made the first card for a demonstrator swap - I love swapping with other demonstrators for new card ideas! I used the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper with Painter's Palette stamp set. I had a lot of fun creating my framed "expression of love" to go along with the greeting.
If you want to draw a little extra attention to that greeting you can try adding a little strip of card stock around it - like I did on this one
There are endless possibilities with this cut. Here's another one we created at stamp camp last month featuring Sweet Sugarplum and Love and Affection stamp set.
Thanks for Stopping by - Come Again Soon!
